State Electric Corporation and President Ronnie Koning are excited to announce additions to the ownership team with the promotions of Brendan Dickie to Partner, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Jane Wu to Partner, Controller. Both Brendan and Jane have been with State Electric since 2005 and were instrumental in growing the company to become a premier electrical contractor in New England. They have exemplified our commitment to being a trusted and experienced partner that continually delivers best in class services to our clients. We look forward to the direction our new ownership team will take State Electric while continuing to meet the growing demands and challenges of our industry.
Brendan started at State Electric as a senior project manager before being promoted in 2010 to Vice President, Commercial Electrical Construction. He has grown and established our Commercial Division to be extremely respected by all our clients through strong performance and a commitment to excellence. Brendan has been the project executive on some of the most challenging and complex projects in the Boston area such as the Boston Landing Development, Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, Novartis, 121 Seaport – Alexion, 145 Broadway – Akamai, 325 Main St. – Google, and One Seaport Square. As Partner, COO, Brendan will now oversee State Electric’s overall operation, business development, project management, estimating, and strategic planning.
Jane’s tenure at State Electric began in the Accounting Department and she quickly forged her way to the controller position in 2006. Jane has built a strong and professional accounting team that supports and contributes to the company’s growth and success. She is very highly regarded by all our financial institutions such as Salem Five Bank, Liberty Mutual Surety, Alliant Insurance Bonding Company, and HUB International Insurance for her attention to detail and accuracy. As Partner, Controller, Jane will take on a greater role overseeing the overall management of the company’s financial operation including financial accounting, reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, internal control, and business administration.
