State Electric Corporation continues to bolster our executive management team with the promotions of Jim Ryan to VP, Commercial Electrical Construction, Mike Abbott to Project Executive (PX), Director of Engineering, and Luke Rebisz to PX. All three have been project managers (PM) at State Electric for over seven years and are highly respected by all our clients for their continual superior project performance. They have executed some of our most complex and high-profile commercial projects and are confident that they will thrive in their newly expanded roles.
Jim Ryan joined State Electric in 2016 as a PM and was promoted to PX in 2022. He started his career at Mass Electric Construction as an electrician before forging his way to an estimator/PM. Then he moved on to Sullivan & McLaughlin in 2005 as a PM and prefabrication manager. At State Electric, some of Jim’s largest projects as PX/PM include Pier 4 Condos, Pier 4 Office, 145 Broadway – Akamai Technologies, The TRACK at New Balance, and 325 Main St. – Google. Jim has demonstrated high performance and a commitment to excellence on every project he has managed. As VP, Commercial Electrical Construction, Jim will now oversee our Commercial operations, project executives/managers, estimating, prefabrication, logistics, and asset management.
In 2014, Mike Abbott came to State Electric from Broadway Electric after being there for 13 years. During his tenure at Broadway, he started as a journeyman and eventually became a general foreman running some of their most sizeable projects. Upon arriving at State Electric, Mike became a PM and has managed prominent projects such as Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, Boston College Recreation Center, in addition to numerous projects at Boston Landing including New Balance World HQ, Boston Bruins Warrior Ice Arena, The Lantera Residences, and 80 Guest St. Office/Labs. Mike’s field, project management, and BIM experience make him an invaluable asset to the company. In his new role as PX, Director of Engineering, he will oversee a team of project managers as well as the day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department.
Luke Rebisz started at State Electric in 2014 as a PM after being at Nardone Electric since 2004. At Nardone, he began his career as an electrician and after gaining valuable experience he worked his way up to PM in 2011. Since joining State Electric, Luke has executed notable projects including Boynton Yards Building 1 – Flagship Pioneering, One Seaport Sq. Residences – Parcel B&C, 121 Seaport – Alexion, MIT Vassar St. Residences, citizenM Hotel, Rapid 7 Fit-Out, and Autodesk Bldg. 23 Phases 1-3. Luke has excelled on a wide spectrum of jobs in his career and has shown a steadfast commitment to client satisfaction. As PX, he will oversee a team of project managers while building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
