Jim started his career in the electrical industry with Mass. Electric Construction Co. (MEC) in 1989 as an apprentice. During his tenure at MEC, he forged his way through the ranks from apprentice, journeyman, estimator, and project manager. In 2005, he began working at Sullivan & McLaughlin as a project manager as well as prefabrication manager. He executed some of the most complex and challenging projects in Boston while he was there. His 30+ years of experience and field expertise allow him to deliver projects utilizing progressive innovative solutions with superior performance.
Jim joined State Electric in 2016 as a PM and was promoted to PX in 2022. Some of Jim’s largest projects as PX/PM at State Electric include Pier 4 Condos, Pier 4 Office, 145 Broadway – Akamai Technologies, The TRACK at New Balance, and 325 Main St. – Google. Jim has demonstrated high performance and a commitment to excellence on every project he has managed. As VP, Commercial Electrical Construction, Jim oversees our Commercial operations, project executives/managers, estimating, prefabrication, logistics, and asset management.
